Can you tell us about the best way to own an IU policy in a multi member LLC and can LLC make the payments? Can the member of the LLC make the payments even if the multi member LLCis the owner and beneficiary?

I understand why he is shifting income from his LLC to his personal return - it's a shift to lower his overall tax rate. (I'm a CPA, so I do this kind of analysis all the time for clients.)

Okay, I've just funded my first four policies for myself and my family here in 🇨🇦. Is the opening of a segregated account key? It's the one step in this whole process that i am unsure of. I would like to think that i am capable of tracking the ins and outs with my policy loans but perhaps I'm being naive? My Infinite Banking advisor wasn't familiar with that step and couldn't comment. Is this more relevant to the American tax code or does country matter? Do you also bounce your premium deposits through your segregated account first or is it strictly to track policy loans and repayments? I would appreciate it if you could do a video addressing segregated accounts with more detail or refer me to one if it already exists. I am even open to a paid consultation if there is someone to talk one on one with if having details about my own business situation is relevant.

I dont understand wouldnt you need the cash equivalent in that policy to pay off the loans you owe? Like if i had a 20k car loan wouldnt i need 20k in the policy before borrowing from it?

I just discovered this concept and its made me curious. My main question is what happens to the PUA at the time of death? From my understanding the beneficiary would only get the base and the insurance company would get the PUA. Am I wrong? Or do you start pulling out all your PUA before the inevitable?

So this only works if you A) have the available cash value to borrow and B) Have the cash flow to repay the loan plus interest. On top of your premiums.
